About

Welcome to my practice! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker located in Voorhees, New Jersey with a passion for helping those who identify as mothers to navigate the waters of new motherhood. I hold a Master of Science in Social Work from Columbia University with a focus on Advanced Clinical Practice. Prior to entering private practice, I worked in community mental health and inpatient psychiatry. Becoming a mother myself gave me a unique sense of professional purpose and direction after my own experience of new motherhood was quite different from what I expected. I completed a post-graduate certificate at New York University School of Social Work in Advanced Clinical Practice, and perinatal mental health trainings at the Postpartum Stress Center, The Seleni Institute, and Postpartum Support International. Additionally, I have completed several courses at the Beck Institute of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I am also a TBHI Certified Telebehavioral Health Practitioner via the Telebehavioral Health Institute.

My treatment approach would best be described as client-centered, informed by my knowledge of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, and utilizing techniques of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I also draw from Interpersonal Therapy, mindfulness, and psychodynamic theory when applicable. It is a collaborative approach, and together we will discuss your individual situation and treatment plan. This might include in-person individual therapy, referrals for support groups and/or medication, online therapy, or some combination of these. Partners are welcome to attend sessions with your consent, and this can often be an invaluable asset to your healing process.

If my approach sounds like it could be helpful to you, please do not hesitate to give me a call at (856) 912-2348 for a free brief consultation. If, however, you are in an emergent, life threatening situation, please do not use this number and rather call 911 or proceed to your nearest emergency room.
